About Our Club

Our Charter: The Heart of Texas Scrapbook Club is a not-for-profit community service organization. We promote the art of scrapbooking while providing opportunities for scrapbookers to get together and scrap! We support a variety of charitable causes with our talents, donations and creative energy. Membership is free and open to the public.

Some H.O.T.S. Club History

In October 1999, seven Austin area scrappers met at the Will Hampton Branch of the Austin Public Library in Oak Hill. We formalized the club and chose the name, The Heart of Texas Scrapbook Club. From these timid beginnings the club grew through email contacts, our quarterly newsletter and word-of-mouth. By December 2000 the club had over 100 members. Two years later our reputation for fun and reasonably priced crops helped our membership grow to over 400 members from all over Texas and beyond! It is a dream come true....

HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:

Core Leadership Team members agree to serve in a position for one year. The term runs from October 1st thru September 30th. Every member is encouraged to get involved and contribute to the successful ongoing of the club.

In addition, each event we sponsor has a hard-working Site Leadership Team headed by our Site Coordinator. Please be sure to say, "Thank you" to these dedicated scrappers who contribute so much of their time and talents to be sure our club is the very best it can be!
